I thought it might be of interest to see several pieces step by step. In these pieces, I did the first portion of the Sea Star on each pentagonal section, then began to join sections, then stuffed the form and then progressed to fill in the areas around the stars. Other pieces, the sphere was constructed first the grid then drawn on the surface. The Lily shows under-painting first. The cape begins as a blank whole hide and gradually sections are drawn on lightly in pencil, after the designs are finished the ground color is filled in.
